After taking water in the morning Eddystone was ready for service. 1400hrs and the fireman fills Eddystone's tank ready for the next trip. E4 sits at Sheffield Park as the driver remembers to get one important thing, tea for the crew. The cab of E4, it may look confusing, but it's not. 9F waiting in the siding for a overhaul. Shall I cross or shan't I? A real working gaslamp at Sheffield Park to fit with the Victorian look. 1638 U-Boat waiting at platform 1 to depart. At the end of the day 1638 reverses to go to bed. That's more like it! Behind the controls this time of 0-4-0 Rhian, a visiting engine, owned by a fellow Bluebell volunteer. The train now approaching platform 1, is the 11.22 Southern Service to Glyndebourne Woods. Please keep well away from the Platform edge! The battery electric Hymek makes its way into Bentley Central Ah ha! Me behind the controls of the Hymek! Question is, do I actually know where I am going with this? And also, wasn't I meant to be returning with passengers?

On the footplate of visiting loco Wadebridge. 80151 has now coupled up to its train and is now ready to go to Kingscote. As soon as passengers found out we sold alcohol on the trains they jumped straight to the oppertunity of drinking it all. Southwards facing Standard 4 80151. 80151 runs into the pumphouse siding at the end of the day. Behind the old Signal box at Kingscote station. Night falls on Sheffield Park and the Porters go round lighting the lamps. I know we said Giants of steam, but this isn't what we had in mind! 1638 waits patiently to depart Kingscote Station with a full train of passengers. Sheffield Park Station. Facing Southwards watching 80151 reversing into the pump house siding The other visiting loco 92 Squadron runs round its train at Kingscote this time. Peek-a-boo! I see you! Eddystone appears from behind a milk tanker. No, this isn't the Bluebell line, this is the miniature railway out in the forecourt of the station building at Sheffield Park. Everyone on? Good, we can leave now. The perfect view of 1638 from the Observation Car. Eddystoneruns down to the limit of shunt running round the train. Eddystone and Wadebridge arrive at Kingscote. 1638 U-Boat runs round its train at Kingscote

Loco 14, Captain Howey's driver waits for the train to come in to enable a loco swap. Loco 5, Hercules, returns to New Romney after being at Hythe. Loco 11, Black Prince, waits at Romney sands for Hercules in order for the token exchange. Ahh, what a beautiful day. Hercules at Dungeness station. Soon to be seen on the 2008 timetable. Hercule's driver, takes the token from Captain Howey's driver. Black Prince sits on the turntable at New Romney, mid afternoon, after a morning of service. Winston Churchill waits this time at New Romney for the Hythe loco swap. Southern Maid reversing down platform 1, heading back to the sheds. Inside the cab of Southern Maid, this is how a steam loco really works! A glorious view of loco 9, Winston Churchill returning after a trip from Dungeness.

Hang about, aren't there meant to be trains here? Water time. Pulling society members is hard work, 80151 deserves this short break. State of the art fire extinguishing equipment. Original fire buckets ready for well fires! With its water in-take complete 80151 couples to the observation car and takes the members on a trip of the line. Blackmoorvale returns after a trip down the line with a pretty full train. E4, formerly Birchgrove takes on water. These engines are just lazy then aren't they? 80151 runs round its special charter 80151 runs past Sheffield Park signal box. Eddystone doesn't need water as it already has enough in! Waiting to leave Sheffield Park. I managed to grab a ride on the footplate of GWR Dukedog, Earl of Berkley! Lucky me! U Class 1638 patiently waits whilst it is taking on water. What you looking at? John Griffith gives me an evil look as I take his photo.

As the morning starts, the loco crew get ready for a busy day. The driver is debating whether or not he's on Fenchurch or no.662. Fenchurch steams up ready for a day of reliable service. Is this a scene out of a Western? Or station staff looking for something to do? Visiting loco, Freshwater moves down platform two towards the water crane. All of the work is too much for Freshwater, even though the day has only just started! That's better. Now Freshwater is fully refreshed it goes to pick up its train. Another visiting loco, no. 662 goes up to the home signals ready to wait for Stepney. Stepney finally makes an apperance to join 662. Now they have coupled up, the train is now ready to leave the station. Now it's O1-class 0-6-0 No 65's turn to take on water. A busy scene at Sheffield Park, with the next train waiting to leave the station. Note how many photographers there are! Southwards this time facing Newick sidings and the local dairy. Techincally even though it isn't a Terrier, Class 4 Tank locomotive No.80151 looks impressive taking this afternoon service. Dask falls on Sheffield Park and Stepney takes water and gives photographers the perfect photo oppertunity. Stepney and 662 wait at platform two, ready to take the early evening train to Kingscote. What a desolate place this is! Horsted Keynes is completely empty as No.80151 brings its train into the station. You can really get a taste for the good old days. Another interesting (ahem!) view of Horsted Keynes So I walked into the local pub and I said to the barman....
